Cookie & Storage Policy

In short: the AEGISITE apps use no cookies at all. This site uses one analytics tool with anonymised IP addresses, and Stripe sets its own cookies only when you open the checkout.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. localStorage is a similar technology that keeps data in the browser without a cookie expiry. Both are regulated by the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and the GDPR.
2. This website (aegisite.workflo.hu)
The landing page uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure traffic and downloads. IP addresses are anonymised before processing. No other tracking, remarketing, or session-recording technology is used.

Data processor: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (policies.google.com/privacy). EU-US transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The site also stores your chosen display language in localStorage (a technical preference, not a tracker).

4. The AEGISITE apps
The AEGISITE desktop app, browser extension and mobile app use no cookies. They store their data locally on your device (an encrypted sign-in token and your local detection history). Nothing about your browsing is sent to our servers — see the Privacy Policy.
5. Stripe cookies (at checkout)
When you open the payment page, Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud prevention and to complete the payment. These are set by Stripe, not by us, and only when you reach the checkout. See stripe.com/privacy.
6. Managing and deleting cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect how the AEGISITE apps work.
