What exactly is an "AI antivirus"?
A classic antivirus hunts malware. AEGISITE hunts AI: it finds every AI tool, agent and process on your devices, watches how they behave, and blocks the new class of attacks aimed at them, like prompt injection and data theft.
I already have an antivirus. Why do I need this?
Keep it! AEGISITE doesn't replace it. Your antivirus looks for known malware signatures. It has no idea what ChatGPT, a local model, or an MCP server is doing on your machine. AEGISITE covers exactly that blind spot.
What do you see from my data?
Practically nothing. All scanning happens on your device, your history is stored on your device, and the live overview keeps only in-memory counters that expire in minutes. We never see what you type, paste, browse or open.
Will it slow down my computer?
No. AEGISITE is a lightweight watcher, not a heavy scanner. It observes process and network metadata, and the browser shield checks content the moment you interact with an AI site. You won't notice it until it saves you.
